Art Nouveau Silver-Plated Dish, 20th Century

This 20th-century silver-plated dish draws on the sculptural vocabulary of Art Nouveau. Its relief decoration features a female figure, the drapery of her dress and the movement of her arms intertwining with curved stems and floral motifs. The organic lines follow the contours of the vessel, creating a fluid continuity between the figure and the form of the dish. Measuring 32 cm in length, 22 cm in width and 12 cm in height, the piece is in very good condition.
