Christ on the Cross, carved from polychrome wood

This polychrome carved wooden Christ on the Cross dates from the 18th century. The figure is distinguished by a head with a halo encircled by a braided crown, as well as a knotted loincloth draping down over the right hip. The superimposed feet attest to the quality of the period carving.
