This polychrome carved wooden Christ on the cross dates from the 18th century. The figure is distinguished by a nimbused head encircled by a woven crown, as well as a knotted perizomium with a lateral fall on the right hip. The superimposed feet attest to the quality of the period's sculptural work. Measuring 25 cm in height and 17 cm in width, this piece is presented on a mounting composed of a plexiglass display stand with a 9 cm square base. The ensemble is in perfect condition, constituting an elegant testimony to 18th-century sacred art, ideal for enriching a collection or a cabinet of curiosities.
