Description

This column in veined red marble features a cylindrical shaft carved with fluting. The whole rests on a moulded square plinth and is topped by a capital adorned with volutes supporting an upper shelf. The surface displays a red hue with shades of dark and light veining. Slight signs of wear and tear, as well as a small chip at the base of the shaft, are visible in the photographs.
