A pair of bronze busts depicting Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Voltaire, mounted on column-shaped pedestals combining white Carrara marble and black Belgian marble. Created in the 18th century, this set of busts is in the Louis XVI style. The two philosophical figures rest on cylindrical shafts of Carrara marble, enhanced by bases and plinths of black Belgian marble. The set measures 20 cm in height, 9 cm in width and 9 cm in length. Both bronzes are in very good condition.
