"Space Age" dining table and chairs, Tabacoff and Rinaldi design

This dining suite comprises a circular table and four chairs in chrome-plated steel, glass and orange faux leather, dating from circa 1970. Manufactured in Belgium by Euro International Steel Furniture, based in Drongen near Ghent, the chairs are the « Idée 2000 » model. Their design is inspired by Boris Tabacoff's « Scimitar » model, while the table derives from a design by Gastone Rinaldi. The table has a glass top resting on a curved chrome-plated steel frame, complemented by chairs with open backs. The table measures 120 cm in diameter and 72,5 cm in height, with a seat height of 45 cm. The suite retains signs of wear and oxidation; the upholstery has been cleaned and scratches repaired.
