Created in 2008 by Danish designer Henrik Pedersen for BoConcept, the Imola armchair is a perfect embodiment of contemporary Scandinavian modernist style. Directly inspired by the organic geometry and fluid curves of a tennis ball, this functional sculpture combines a slender chrome-plated steel base with an enveloping seat upholstered in grey wool felt with a soft, plush feel.
