Description

This lidded goblet features a translucent glass bowl resting on a baluster stem and a circular base. The body is adorned with a finely engraved design featuring a handwritten inscription, surmounted by a domed lid edged with a gilt band and topped with a gilt handle. The articulated stem and circular base feature gilt or engraved elements that are visibly coordinated. Visual examination reveals cutting and gilding work on translucent glass.
