Description

This model ship is crafted from silver filigree. The piece depicts a three-masted sailing ship reminiscent of a caravel, mounted on an ornate pedestal. The structure of the deck, the shrouds and the sails is formed by an interlacing of metal wires meticulously assembled. The mainsail bears a red and white cross motif, which appears to be enamelled. The piece as a whole features an openwork composition of great finesse. It appears to be in good overall condition, showing no major signs of damage upon inspection.
