Description

Entitled Sémiramis, this bronze sculpture with a brown patina depicts the legendary queen of Babylon playing an Eastern lyre. By the sculptor Marie Georges Charles Coudray and associated with the French School of the late 19th century, this cast stands 71 cm high. The base bears the artist’s signature and the foundry mark of the Société des bronzes de Paris.
