Dating from the 17th century, this carved wooden stand features high-relief decoration combining two winged cherub heads, scrolls and floral motifs around a central cartouche. The wood retains a deep red polychrome finish, traditionally used as a ground for the application of gold leaf, which remains visible on the relief decoration. The stand rests on four carved paw feet. Supports of this type were frequently used in Baroque churches to display statues, tabernacles or reliquaries. Measuring 35 cm in length and 40 cm in width, the piece retains its original colours and shows surface wear consistent with its age.
