Description

This 19th-century snuff box is crafted from agate and topped with a Peking glass stopper. The agate has been selected to reveal a pattern evoking a snow-covered mountain landscape. This display piece stands 7 cm high. In terms of its history, the piece comes from the Petit Musée de Montréal, where it is documented as early as 1960. The item is in perfect condition, although the spoon is missing. The combination of the agate and the Peking glass stopper is the main feature of this snuffbox.
