This Charles V-style iron armour dates from the 19th century. The iron piece is adorned with an acid-etched design, comprising grotesque motifs and floral scrolls. The measured dimensions indicate a total height of 220 cm including the plinth, a width of 54 cm and a depth of 49 cm. In terms of conservation, it should be noted that the object has a few missing sections. This piece has a documented provenance from the Château de Terlinden, situated in the municipality of Ternate near the city of Brussels in Belgium.
