Originating from Shanxi province, this wooden cabinet, attributed to the late Qing period, has a teal-blue lacquer finish with a patina showing wear along the edges. The front comprises three upper drawers fitted with metal pulls, above two central doors flanked by fixed panels. The cabinet stands on straight legs joined by a lower apron and encloses a storage compartment divided by a central shelf. Fully restored, it retains the proportions characteristic of northern Chinese furniture and measures 108 cm in width, 45 cm in depth and 108 cm in height.
