This cabinet-sized bisque reduction, after the model by Antonio Canova, depicts Pâris wearing his Phrygian cap, his head turned slightly to the right. Attributed to the French School of the second quarter of the 19th century, it bears no factory mark. The ensemble has an overall height of 51,5 cm and rests on a socle above a green marble column fitted with a gilt ring, the pedestal measuring 20,5 cm in height with a base of 13 cm square.
