Description

These cases are crafted using straw marquetry and date from the 18th century, in the Louis XVI style. The decorative technique involves assembling strands of straw arranged to form a geometric pattern on the surface of the pieces. Intended to be displayed as showcase pieces, these two items measure 16 cm in length by 4.5 cm in width for the first, and 17.5 cm in length by 4 cm in width for the second.
