Rouen earthenware plate, Regency style, 17th century

This earthenware and ceramic dish is in the Regency style and dates from the 17th century. Originally from Rouen, the piece is typical of the ceramic production of that period. The piece was produced using a high-fire decoration technique with cobalt blue. Its stylistic features reflect the character of Rouen earthenware. In terms of dimensions, the piece measures 44 cm in length, 55 cm in width and 6 cm in height. Presented in a generally well-used condition, this dish shows a slight chip on its surface.
