Description

This 19th-century convex mirror, known in French as a « miroir sorcière », is in the Empire style and features a circular domed mirror providing a convex reflection. Its carved and gilded wooden frame is bordered by a row of beading and a turned moulding surrounding a dark inner ring. Carved acanthus motifs adorn the drops and crestings at the top and bottom. Measuring 78 cm in width and 100 cm in height, the mirror is in perfect condition.
