Description
A bronze sculpture entitled ‘Flora’, dated 1847 and attributed to the 19th century. Created by the sculptor Jan Jozef Jacquet (1822–1898), this piece is in the Napoleon III style. The work bears the artist’s signature, the date 1847, and the stamp of the Compagnie Anonyme des Bronzes de Bruxelles. The object is 30 centimetres high. As regards its condition, the sculpture requires restoration and needs to be repatinated. It does not have a certificate of authenticity and is currently located in Brussels.
