Description

This bronze reduction with a dark brown patina depicts the Capitoline Venus, attributed to the 19th-century Italian School and associated with Grand Tour production. The figure stands in the traditional pose of modesty beside a vase covered with drapery. The cast is mounted on a circular breccia marble base edged with white marble. The overall height is 51,5 cm, with the base measuring 11 cm in height and 18 cm in diameter.
