Bronze and pâte de verre lamp by Jim Davidson

Crafted from bronze and pâte de verre, this lamp by Jim Davidson is in the 20th-century Art Deco style. Its round base is adorned with foliage and roots symbolising the trunk of a tree, around which a long snake with detailed scales is coiled. This piece features a Tiffany-style dome, hand-crafted from polychrome pieces assembled and soldered with tin. Standing 87 cm tall, with a base measuring 27 cm and a lampshade 41 cm in diameter, this piece is in very good condition and provides refined lighting whilst serving as a striking work of decorative art.
