A pair of 20th-century wall sconces in gilded bronze, glass and sandblasted glass, crafted by Jean Perzel (1892–1986). This model, reference 542 bis, combines a bronze frame with a gilded bronze and sandblasted glass shade, the glass part of which is removable. The structure incorporates five stepped glass panels, hand-cut with a diamond tool, designed to reflect light. Each wall light is signed ‘Perzel’ and fitted with electrical wiring. The set measures 21 cm in height, 44 cm in width and 27 cm in depth, and is in good condition.
