Description

Made circa 1830 in Bruxelles by Frédéric Faber, this pair of porcelain vases has ovoid bodies on pedestal feet and square bases. The bodies and bases are painted on their various sides with Italian-inspired landscapes. Gilding covers the necks, shoulders and supports. The pierced handles are surmounted by sculpted fruit-basket motifs. Each vase measures 36 cm in height, with a base measuring 9 cm on each side.
