Gothic-style vermeil reliquary statue, 19th century

This is a reliquary statue crafted from vermeil in the Gothic style and dating from the 19th century. The sculpture depicts a monk holding a reliquary. The entire piece rests on a plinth set with four cabochons. As regards the metal’s hallmark, the piece bears an 800 fineness mark flanked by two crowns. In terms of its exact dimensions, this sculpture is 11 centimetres high, 4.5 centimetres wide and 4.5 centimetres deep. The object is preserved and presented in its current condition.
