A 19th-century Tibetan bronze Buddhist ritual cup. This object rests on a flared pedestal supporting a body with a structured, eight-sided moulded decoration. Each panel is encircled by a Himalayan-style trilobed frame enclosing a relief motif. These chiselled decorations depict stylised flames and bats surrounded by scrollwork, as well as protective motifs. Protruding vertical ribs separate and punctuate the panels in the manner of symbolic columns. The piece measures 19.5 cm in height and 14 cm in diameter. The object is in good condition.
