This set of six folding chairs in chrome-plated metal, light beech and natural rattan was designed circa 1970 in Italy by the designer Giorgio Cattelan (born in 1949) and produced by CIDUE. The model is distinguished by its articulated folding structure. Stylistically, the composition combines the geometric precision of the chrome-plated metal legs with the warmth of the light beech wood and natural cane. The dimensions of one chair are approximately 78 cm high, 52 cm wide and 48 cm deep. The set is in a fine condition for its age, showing slight signs of wear and some pitting on the chrome. This model is a characteristic example of 1970s Italian design.
