This snuff box is crafted from ochre agate, silver and rose quartz and dates from the 19th century. The body of the object takes the form of a flattened double gourd, finely hollowed out from the block of mineral. The clasp consists of a stopper and a silver scoop, the whole surmounted by a rose quartz cabochon. The combination of the hollowed-out agate and the silverwork is typical of 19th-century display pieces. This object measures 7 cm in height and is in a very good state of preservation.
