Description

This bulbous vase with a long neck that flares slightly towards the top is crafted from multi-layered pâte de verre. Dating from the 19th century, this work of art is in the Art Nouveau style and is attributed to the glassmaker Émile Gallé. The glasswork features a technique of acid-etched decoration, revealing motifs of flowers and chestnut tree foliage. The piece bears Gallé’s signature, engraved directly onto the glass. The dimensions of this object are 16.6 cm in height, 8.5 cm in width and 6 cm in depth. The piece is in perfect condition.
