Exhibiting an elegant craftsmanship, this 19th-century gilt bronze meiping vase is distinguished by its meticulous decoration executed in bas-relief. The belly features five-clawed dragons, associated with imperial symbolism, evolving amidst stylized clouds. The shoulder of the piece is adorned with lotus flowers and foliated scrolls, arranged above a frieze of stylized petals. The lower part bears a four-character Qianlong signature. Measuring 18 centimeters in height with a diameter between 6 and 11 centimeters, this display object is preserved in very good condition.
