Berlin porcelain solitaire coffee service, 18th century

Dating from the 18th century, this Berlin porcelain solitaire coffee service comprises a tray with a shaped rim and two stylised handles, a coffee pot, a milk jug, a covered sugar bowl and a cup and saucer. The service features painted polychrome decoration of delicately shaded floral bouquets, complemented by gilt combwork and reserves with moulded basketweave decoration on the rim and necks. The tray measures 42 cm in length and 30 cm in width. The piece is in very good condition.
