Gillows of Lancaster and London, also known as Gillow & Co., was an English furniture-making firm founded in Lancaster around 1730 by Robert Gillow. Known for its direct importation of West Indian mahogany and the quality of its workmanship, the firm opened a London branch in the late 18th century and became one of the leading furniture makers of the Georgian and Regency periods. In 1897 it merged with the Liverpool firm Waring to form Waring & Gillow.
