Biography

Georges Dufrénoy was born on 20 June 1870 in Thiais and died on 9 December 1943 in Salles-Arbuissonnas-en-Beaujolais. He studied at the Académie Julian under Jean-Paul Laurens from 1887, then in the studio of Désiré Laugée. Marked by regular stays in Venice from 1902, he exhibited at the Salon d'Automne, becoming a member and later a committee member.
